CloudFone CloudPad X: A 8-inch Dual Boot Tablet with Good Specs

CloudFone introduced several dual boot tablets in the past with the likes of Epic 7.1 and Epic 8.9, recently, they silently released another one, dubbed as the CloudPad X. The CloudPad X sports an 8-inch IPS OGS display powered by 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z3735F quad core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. As mentioned earlier, it is a dual boot device, wherein you can seamlessly switch between Windows 10 and Android 4.4 KitKat through the crossover shortcut.

This tablet is housed in a metal frame with glass covering both its front and back. Other known specs as of this writing are 4000mAh battery, 5MP main camera, 2MP front camera and the usual connectivity options like WiFi and Bluetooth. It is now available for purchase at CloudFone stores and kiosks nationwide for Php6,999. Every purchase comes with a free case and keyboard.

If anyone is ever considering buying or looking for a dual boot tablet? Then look no more as Cloudfone, a well known Filipino smartphone brand providing the newest devices, latest technology and quality, is now offering to the market one of its dual boot tablet the Cloudpad X. For those who are not familiar what “dual boot” means, you will now have the option to either choose Android or Windows to use in your device.

Why do we need two operating systems? It’s a nice thing to have as well as a very useful feature, because there are some apps which are better on one OS than the other. Other apps are not even available for one of the OS or maybe you want to run Office in Windows rather than in Android.

Now with the Cloudpad X, this amazing tablet gives you the best of both worlds! You get Android and Windows in this tablet letting you do dual-booting from one operating system to the other. One more thing, instead of calling it “dual boot”, Cloudfone calls this feature as Cross-over Technology. We were fortunate enough to get our hands on the Cloudpad X and we will do first an initial unveiling of the product. Then on the coming weeks we get to test the product and give you our impression of it. So, first let’s unbox this awesome device.

Here is a more detailed look of the keyboard case, a free bundled accessory that comes with the Cloudpad X, then we will show you (via thhow to put the tablet on it and setting it on laptop mode. Actually, Cloudfone calls it simply: a free case but for us it is better to describe or name it as magnetic keyboard case. Because this is not just any ordinary keyboard case but Cloudfone placed some several small magnets into it. While the back of the bluetooth keyboard is covered in thin metal it helps stay on contact with the case and at the surface.

The Cloudpad X is now available in all Cloudfone concept stores, kiosk and authorized dealers nationwide for a suggested retail price of P6,999. You can also buy it online at and check out for more Cloudfone products at
