Samsung Galaxy Device With 4 Cameras to Launch on October 11

Samsung is prepping up to release yet another Galaxy device this year. Samsung just sent out formal invitations to “A Galaxy Event” that’s happening October 11th. New Galaxy smartphone is expected to launch with as many as four cameras. Tipsters indicate that the four cameras are not inclusive of two cameras in the front and two cameras at the back, but that there will be as many as four cameras at the rear end of the smartphone.

The Korean tech giant didn’t reveal much info about its launch but the upcoming event was teased with “4x fun” note, hinting us about its new device. There is no word on what this smartphone will be, and Samsung doing an event in October is out of tradition.

Samsung has even announced that the event will be live streamed on the Samsung website. This is in line with what tipster Ice Universe suggested a week ago. He suggested that Samsung is set to launch a smartphone with four rear cameras in 2018, and now the company has sent out a confirmation for an October event.

Samsung could be teasing a quad-camera setup. Just like other smartphones from other brands, the upcoming Galaxy device might have dual cameras on the back and another two sensors for selfie. On the other hand, based on Leaker Ice Universe’s tweet recently, these four cameras might be seen on the back.

Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy X this year, the first foldable smartphone. Valid sources suggest that it will launch on November, this could well be the event where we see the first bendable device launch for commercial usage. CEO DJ Koh announced that the handset might become a reality at the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) this November in San Francisco, so the October event could be about something else altogether.

Claiming that “Samsung’s newest Galaxy device is bringing more ways to express yourself than ever before,” many were hopeful that the brand’s first foldable smartphones will now take its spotlight. Recently, Mobile CEO DJ Koh has also revealed that it's about time to deliver the said device to consumers. Nothing else was revealed except for a tagline “4x fun” and that the device will bring in “more ways to express yourself than ever before”. This could mean anywhere from a selfie-centric device, camera-centric or maybe even a quad-camera setup

It could also be the new Galaxy A (2019) series that traditionally launches during the December- January timeline. This new series is expected to sport triple cameras at the back, and an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. All of this is speculation at this point and we recommend you to take everything lightly. Samsung will announce all the details at the event on October 11. There’s no official info right now, so, stay tuned! We’ll update you as soon as the new Galaxy device launches.
