Razer Phone 2 Renders Leaks: Everything We Know So Far

Last year, Razer released its first Android smartphone, they named it, the Razer Phone. The device is designed mainly for gamers but the handset is very good enough for everyday use. The Razer Phone did so well last year that Razer decided to make a sequel of the gaming smartphone. The Razer Phone 2 is going to be unveiled next month. According to a trustworthy source, we already have press renders of the Razer Phone 2.

Razer Phone 2 Renders Leaks

Just a few weeks before the official launch of the new Razer Phone 2, official render of the device surfaced online, revealing its design. The render was leaked by Evan Blass on his twitter account and confirms that the Razer Phone 2 will retain the 16:9 aspect ratio of its predecessor.

Looking at the top bezel, there are two large holes that are clearly for the camera and the sensor. It will have USB Type-C port and will be in-between two antenna lines. This is our first look at the Razer Phone 2, Razer’s upcoming new gaming smartphone.

Going to the rear part of the handset, the dual cameras are now placed at the center of the phone with the LED flash. Similar to its predecessor, the green logo is still present. There’s no fingerprint scanner as seen on its rear so it’ll likely still be placed under the power button.
The Razer Phone 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. The handset will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. So far there are very little details online about the specs of this upcoming Android gaming smartphone.

Although by the looks of it the phone will still sport a dual rear camera setup and the same boxy design, with some little tweaks. Rumor has it that the Razer Phone 2 will finally be unveiled next month. We’ll just have to wait for Razer’s official announcements.
