Lenovo Z5 Pro GT with Snapdragon 855 and 128GB RAM Announced

Lenovo has announced a more powerful variant of its new Z5 Pro flagship smartphone – the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT. The new flagship smartphone from Lenovo is the first phone to run Qualcomm’s 2019 flagship chipset Snapdragon 855 paired with 128GB of RAM.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with the same 6.39-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ panel with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is armed with a slider design, too, and is banked with similar camera modules.

The new Z5 Pro GT model is packed with a Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, complemented with Adreno 640 grahics. The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is also the first smartphone geared with up to a whooping 12GB of RAM.

Lenovo claimed that it can open up to 50 apps simultaneously without slowing down. promising a smoother overall performance when playing games with heavy graphics and multitasking. 

Other notable specs also include its in-display fingerprint sensor, IR Face Unlock, Dolby Atmos, and a slightly smaller 3350mAh battery. Other specs includes a dual selfie camera hiding in a mechanical slider which is found on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, a dual rear camera set up and running Android 9.0 Pie.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT will be available first in China on January 24, 2019. It will be available for pre-order on January 15, 2019.
