Vivo Y89 with 6.26-inch display and SD 626 now official

Vivo has released a new mid-range smartphone in China – the Vivo Y89. The new device features a 6.26-inch screen with a notch, powered by a Snapdragon 626 chipset, and dual rear camera set up.

The Vivo Y89 is dressed with a glass-like body with a stylish color gradient design. The handset flashes a 6.26-inch panel with a thick notch on top of it, resulting to a 19:9 screen aspect ratio. It features FHD+ display with 2280 x 1080 pixels, too.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y89 carries a dated Snapdragon 626 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, and is paired with Adreno 506 graphics. The handset is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, for a smooth multitasking and it can still manage heavy mobile tasks such as gaming.

In the camera department, the Vivo Y89 is packed with a dual-rear camera setup composed of a 16-megapixel f/2.0 main shooter, and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor. It sports 16-megapixel f/2.0 selfie snapper, too.

The handset has also feature a fingerprint scanner, and supports Face Unlock. It loads Android 8.1 Oreo OS with Funtouch 4.0 skin and it is powered by a 3260mAh battery.

The Vivo Y89 is priced at CNY 1,598 (~PHP 12,409.93)
