Vivo Z3i Standard Edition with 6.3” Display & 6GB RAM now official

Vivo Z3i smartphone was launched in China last October 2018 and now a new variation called the Z3i Standard Edition has been launched in the country. The only key difference with the original Z3i is that instead of an AMOLED screen panel, the new iteration comes in an IPS LCD screen.

The Z3i Standard Edition features a 6.3-inch 19:9 IPS LCD screen with FHD+ 2280 x 1080 resolution with a water drop notch. It will come out of the box with Android 8.1 Oreo OS based on FunTouch OS 4.5 UI and might be getting further updates when available.

Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset which will come with 6GB of RAM while the inboard storage is at 128GB which can also be extended further via microSD card slot. In the camera department, the handset packed with a 16MP f/2.0 + 2MP AI dual-camera setup at the back with PDAF focus, 24MP AI selfie camera.

The handset comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back and will also get the face unlocking feature to enhance the security levels. The handset will be measuring 155.97 mm x 75.63 mm x 8.1 mm in size and weighs 163.7 grams in weight.

The handset will be coming in Starry Night Black, Aurora Blue, and Dream Pink color variants. The price is cheaper as well. It is now priced at CNY 1,998 (~PHP 15,412) instead of CNY 2,398. The model is only available in China as of the moment, nothing is known about the global rollout.
