Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 with pop-up cam and triple-camera now official

Huawei has just revealed the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 on its official website. It's the company's second phone with a notchless full screen design with pop-up cameras.

In terms of its design, the device looks like the P smart Z with more cameras. The Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 comes with a  6.59-inch 2.5D curved IPS screen with FHD+ 2340 x 1080 resolution and a motorized 16MP f/2.2 motorized front facing camera.

Under the hood, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is powered by Hisilicon Kirin 710F, it’s coupled with 4GB of RAM and has storage options of either 64GB or 128GB. To power up the device, it is equip with 4,000mAh battery and features fingerprint scanner behind. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS with EMUI 9.0 skin as its operating system. 

Camera wise, the device comes with 16MP f/1.8 main camera, 8MP f/2.4 120-degree ultra wide-angle lens, and 2MP f/2.4 with PDAF and LED flash. The cameras also has AI to detect up to 22 different categories and over 500 scenes. It also has Huawei's Super Night Mode handheld long exposure technology.

Official pricing and availability are yet to be announced. It is rumored to retail for around USD 300 or PHP 15.6K out of straight conversion.
