Honor 8S priced and availability in the Philippines

HONOR has just released the price of its entry-level smartphone in the Philippines, the HONOR 8S.  It will be available July 19 for a price of P5,490, it is a pretty competitive budget phone.

To recall, the Honor 8S flaunts a two-tone back design, which is also found on other Honor devices. It flashes a trendy 5.71-inch FullView display with 84.6% screen-to-body ratio and a dewdrop notch, as well.

Under the hood, the handset is loaded with the 12nm 2.0GHz 64-bit Helio A22 quad-core processor paired with PowerVR GE8300. It is also coupled with 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.

It also goes with a promising 13MP f/1.8 PDAF main camera (for the price) and a 5MP AI-assisted selfie shooter. Other notable features include its 13-megapixel main shooter, 5-megapixel front camera, and 3020mAh battery. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0.

The Honor 8S is priced at PHP 5,490. It will be officially available in the Philippines starting July 19. Honor is also partnering with Shopee and will be holding a pre-order period starting July 13, and will be throwing in a 32GB microSD and Honor Band 4 for free.
