Honor 9X and 9X Pro are now official with pop-up camera and 7nm Kirin 810 chipset

Honor has officially released its newest smartphones – the Honor 9X and 9X Pro. Coming from its predecessor Honor 8X, the two new devices sport a massive overall upgrade which are set to battle out its rivals through its trendy features and impressive specs.

Honor 9X and 9X Pro are now official with pop-up camera and 7nm Kirin 810 chipset

HONOR 9X highlights a 3D curved back design with unique X-like patterns and gradient colors in midnight black, blue, and red. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a large 6.59-inch panel with 19:5:9 screen aspect ratio, no notch, and a 16MP pop-up camera.

Inside, the device is powered by the 9X with Kirin 810 octa-core processor clocked 2.27GHz, Mali-G52 MP6 graphics, up to 6GB RAM, and up to 128GB storage. To keep the fun running, the device is juiced with 4,000mAh battery with USB-C charging.

Camera-wise, the Honor 9X packed with a 48-megapixel f/1.8 main shooter paired with 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor. For selfies, it is mounted with 16-megapixel f/2.2 pop-up snapper.

Moving on, the HONOR 9X Pro is similar in specs compared with the regular 9X, but better. It has the midnight black and phantom blue color options, NINE liquid cooling option, larger 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and an extra 8MP f/2.4 ultra wide-angle camera at the back.

The handset also features triple rear cameras composed of 48-megapixel f/1.8 main shooter, 8-megapixel f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor.

HONOR 9X comes with a starting price of CNY 1,399 (around PHP 10.3K) for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage option, CNY 1,599 (around PHP 11.8K) for the 6GB RAM/64GB variant, and CNY 1,899 (around PHP 14.1K) for the 6GB RAM/128GB edition.

On the other hand, HONOR 9X Pro goes with a CNY 2,199 (around PHP 16.3K) starting price for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant and CNY 2,399 (around PHP 17.8K) for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage edition.

The Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro will be available for pre-order in China beginning July 30, while both phones will go on sale starting August 9.
