Right on schedule, Xiaomi has launched its latest smartphones in China, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. Both are packed with get killer specs of a flagship phone, Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G connectivity, LPDDR5 RAM and monstrous cameras.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 is packed with a punch-hole Gorilla Glass 6 protected 18:7:9 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch response rate, 5000000:1 contrast ratio for superb color accuracy, 1,200 nit brightness, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.
Undet the hood, the device is powered by the 7nm 2.84GHz Snapdragon 865 octa-core chipset with Adreno 650 GPU and a separate Qualcomm X55 5G modem, Super VC Liquid Cooling, 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.0 storage with Write Turbo solution, and a 4,780mAh battery with 30W PD fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Camera wise, Xiaomi geared it with quad rear cameras, composed of a whopping 108-megapixel main shooter, 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 2-megapixel macro, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Moreover, it can support up to 8K video recording, enabling users to elevate their mobile photography experience. For selfies, it boasts a 20-megapixel snapper.
Xiaomi Mi 10, the 8GB/128GB version is priced at CNY 3,999 (around PHP 26K). The 8GB/256GB variant goes for CNY 4,299 (around PHP 31K), and the 12GB/256GB edition retails for CNY 4,699 (around PHP 33K).
Next is the more powerful Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro. It still uses the 6.67-inch display, the same 5G-ready chipset, and similar 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, but it has 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.0 storage.
The battery is smaller at 4,500mAh, but it has a faster wired charging at 50W. The wireless charging and reverse wireless charging stays at 30W and 10W, respectively.
Moving on to its photography department, it has a bump in specs. It uses a 108MP f/1.69, 20MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, 12MP f/2.0 short telephoto, and an 8MP f/2.0 long telephoto. It has the same up to 8K video recording. But, it has up to 10x optical zoom and 50x hybrid zoom.
