Huawei Y8p with Kirin 710F and 6.3-inch OLED screen now official

Huawei just unveiled the newest member of the Y series on its global official websites, the Huawei Y8p. The Y8p has a lot of similarities from the Huawei Y9s except that it sports a higher-end screen.

The Y8p comes with a 6.3-inch 2.5D curved OLED screen with FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution and a 20:9 screen aspect ratio. It has a notch, but it still an upgrade over the notchless 6.59-inch TFT LCD (LTPS) screen of Y9s.

The Huawei Y8p is powered by a Kirin 710F chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It does have an under display fingerprint scanner, 4,000 mAh battery and running Android 10. For cameras, the Huawei Y8p comes with a 48MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor.

The Huawei Y8p retails at BYN 650 in Belarus around PHP 13.6K out of straight conversion. Stay tuned for its local pricing and availability.
