Huawei MatePad now official in the Philippines, priced at Php 20,990

Huawei is launching a new tablet in the Philippines, the Huawei MatePad. The tablet is priced at PHP 20,990 and is one of their latest offerings to arrive in the local market.

The Huawei MatePad sports a 10.4-inch IPS display with 2K resolution, that is 2000 x 1200 pixels, has a 5:3 aspect ratio and 84% screen-to-body ratio. Inside, it is powered 2.27GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 810 chip, which is based on a 7nm FinFET process.

It is paired with 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal storage, expandable up to 512GB with a MicroSD card. It comes with EMUI 10.1 preinstalled out of the box, powered by a 7,250mAh battery.

The Huawei MatePad is also equipped with four high amplitude speakers tuned by Harman Kardon and quad-array microphones. It comes with two 8MP cameras, one on the front and another at the back. The new MatePad also supports the M Pencil and Huawei Share.

The Huawei MatePad price in the Philippines is Php20,990. Those who will buy it from July 31 to August 2 will receive Php8,171 worth of freebies, including a Huawei M Pencil and Flip Cover.
