Samsung Galaxy M40 with Infinity-O display and Snapdragon 675 now official

In India, Samsung has announced the arrival of its newest mid-range smartphone - the Galaxy M40. The new mid-ranger smartphone from Samsung is packed with a gradient back design which also features an Infinity-O display and Snapdragon 675 chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen with Infinity-O screen with 91.8 percent screen-to-body ratio and features a screen sound technology which uses vibration inside the device instead of a physical call speaker. The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner and a hole-punch camera.

Under the hood, the Galaxy M40 is powered by the Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor, Adreno 612 graphics, 6GB RAM, and 128GB expandable storage. Also, the device can surely accompany users on their daily mobile activities, as it is juiced with 3,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

On the camera department, the device sports triple rear cameras composed of a 32-megapixel f/1.7 main shooter, 8-megapixel f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, and 5-megapixel f/2.2 depth sensor. For selfies, it boasts a 16-megapixel f/2.0 snapper.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 is priced at INR 19,990 (~Php15K) in India. It will be available beginning June 19, 2019. Meanwhile, there’s no word yet if it will also arrive in the Philippines.
