Samsung Galaxy Fold launched in the Philippines, priced at PHP 109,990

Samsung the Korean tech giant has officially launched their most innovative foldable smartphone yet in the Philippines – the Galaxy Fold.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold was one of the most anticipated devices earlier this year. However, its global launch was delayed because of some display issues. Now, the brand is finally bringing its handset in other parts of the world.

The Galaxy Fold comes with a small 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display when folded. Then, users can unfold it to reveal its whopping 7.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex screen. Inside, Samsung packed it with a Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, Adreno 640 GPU, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage. The device is equipped with a large 4,380mAh battery that supports adaptive fast charging, wireless charging, and power share.

Camera wise, the Galaxy Fold sports triple rear cameras, consisting of a 12-megapixel main shooter, 16-megapixel f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor, and 12-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto sensor. For selfies, it is equipped with 10-megapixel f/1.9 + 8-megapixel f/2.2 RGB dual snappers.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold retails for PHP 109,990. Under Globe’s Platinum Plan, it will be available for pre-order beginning November 18.
