GCash Jr. for users aged 7 to 17 years old

To give young Filipinos a safe way to pay without cash and a fun digital experience, GCash has launched GCash Jr., an exclusive e-wallet for younger users. With this new wallet, kids can get a lot of digital financial services, including exclusive deals from their favorite brands and shows, gaming vouchers and discounts and more.

GCash aims to let minors learn how to be financially aware and responsible at an early age while giving them access to features such as online payments and Pay QR for their K-Pop merchandise, buying load for their gaming credits and skins, and GLife for food deals and the latest fashion trends.

For the funds limit, GCash Jr. has an e-wallet size of up to 50,000 Pesos and a 10,000 Pesos limit for daily incoming and outgoing transactions. To ensure that the service is safe and secured, GCash Jr. implements a stringent KYC (Know-your-customer) process.

To use the service, download the GCash app, and minors aged 7 to 17 only need to submit a photo of one of the following IDs: student ID, passport, or national ID. Their parents will also be required to enter their fully-verified GCash account and take a selfie with their child's ID. Additionally, GCash Jr. users must submit a photo of their birth certificate.

After submitting all requirements, users will receive an SMS confirmation that they have been fully verified as GCash Jr. users. GCash is your first step toward financial independence. You can get the GCash app for free on Google Play and the App Store.
