Samsung Galaxy A70 with 6.7-inch 20:9 AMOLED display now official


Samsung unveils another new impressive smartphone with large display – the Samsung Galaxy A70. After the recent release of its flagship phones from the Galaxy S10 line, Samsung now adds a new member to the upper midrange segment with the announcement of the Galaxy A70.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 has a large 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a cinematic 20:9 aspect ratio, a dew drop notch, dressed with a 3D Glasstic design that can match any style. Inside, the handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 6150 processor, paired with 6GB RAM, 128GB of expandable storage.

Camera wise, the Galaxy A70 features a triple-rear camera setup composed of a 32-megapixel f/1.9 main shooter, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide angle lens, and 5-megapixel f/2.2 depth sensor. It is mounted with a 32-megapixel f/2.0 selfie snapper, as well.

Samsung geared the phone with a large 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W Super Fast Charging. Other notable features also include its in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with One UI. The Samsung Galaxy A70’s pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
