The Social Security System (SSS) announced that they partner banks and payment centers that will accept contribution payments using the Payment Reference Number (PRN) for both SSS Employers and Voluntary Paying members.
If you want to continue to pay your SSS contribution, you can now easily do without a hassle. As part of their innovative e-services, the Social Security System has now added more payment centers to process your SSS transactions. All members, employers and OFWs can now proceed to nearest local collecting partners and merchants to pay their contribution using the latest online Payment Reference Number or PRN.
You don't need to visit nearest SSS branch every month if one of the listed banks and payment centers is available and near to your location. SSS have worked with banks that offer e-services so they can pay their contribution online easily and swiftly. So this means that even if you’re working abroad, you can still regularly pay and monitor your SSS contributions.
For SSS Voluntary paying members, you first have to get your SSS Payment Reference Number from the SSS Website or SSS Branch before you can pay your contributions to the SSS Branches that has Tellering Facility or any of the following partner banks and non-banks partners.
For Employers, under the new Real Time Posting of Contributions (RTPC) project of the SSS where the PRN is introduced, the Employer has to prepare their monthly collection list on time in the SSS website to obtain the Payment reference Number before paying it in the SSS branches that has Tellering Facility or any of the accredited partner banks and non-bank partners.List of SSS Accredited Banks and Non-Bank Payment Centers

SSS added that some other banks are currently enhancing their system to become RTPC-compliant in order to receive contribution payments using the PRN.
