The Home Development Mutual Fund, more commonly known as Pag-IBIG Fund, was founded to aid Filipino citizens in attaining an appropriate living situation at a cost-effective rate. Being a Pag-IBIG member allows for access to various advantageous services such as a Pag-IBIG housing loan, short-term loans, and provident savings.

As mandated by law, all employees must be members of the HDMF or Pag-IBIG Fund. If you have been employed in the past, then you are likely already a part of the membership. Who Can Be a Member of Pag-IBIG?

Any Filipino citizen can be a member of HDMF, including but not limited to:
  • A private employee, whether permanent, temporary, or provisional who is not over 60 years old;
  • A household helper earning at least P1,000 per month;
  • A Filipino seafarer upon the signing of the standard contract of employment between the seafarer and the manning agency, which together with the foreign ship owner, acts as the employer;
  • A self-employed person regardless of trade, business or occupation, with an income of at least P1,000 per month and not over 60 years old;
  • All employees who are subject to mandatory coverage by the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS);
  • Uniformed members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and the Philippine National Police;
  • Filipinos employed by foreign-based employers, whether they are deployed locally or abroad or a combination thereof.

Pag-IBIG Online Registration 2023: Step by Step Guide

Step 1: Open the Pag-IBIG Online Services website at https://www.pagibigfundservices.com. Click the Membership Registration section as shown in the image below.

Step 2: You will be taken to the Pag-IBIG Fund online registration system. Click Continue.

Step 3: Enter your last name, first name, middle name, and date of birth in order to allow Pag-IBIG to search its member database and make sure that you haven’t registered before. Don’t forget to enter the code at the bottom and then click Proceed.

Step 4: You’ll then be redirected to the next page, which acts as a virtual application form for Pag-IBIG Fund membership. Complete the application form. Fill up the information needed and correctly. Be mindful that the application form have several tabs to complete such as Member Info, Other Info, Address, Contacts, Heirs, Member Category, and Employment History, so you should go through each tab and input the details being asked. Just click each tab to enter your information.

Step 5: Once you finish the form, click the Summary tab and submit your registration. If your sign up has been successful, you’ll be redirected to the Successful Registration page. You might also receive an SMS confirming your registration.


Pag-IBIG Online Verification

After two working days, you can verify your permanent Pag-IBIG number by sending a text message in this format:

IDSTAT<space>[RTN]<space><Birthdate MM/DD/YYYY>

Example: IDSTAT 123456789 11/27/1956

Then send it to:

What If I Forgot My RTN?

There are several other ways to still get verified even if you don’t remember your RTN.


1. Call The Pag-IBIG Hotline

Dial (02) 8-724-4244. For faster inquiry, press 1 then 3 when prompted.

Take note, you’ll be required to provide the following:
  • Your complete name (including middle name)
  • Mother’s maiden name
  • Date of birth
  • Employment status

Have a pen and paper ready by your side to take down your Pag-IBIG MID number and Pag-IBIG registration tracking number (RTN).


2. Email / Contact Us Form

Send an email to contactus@pagibigfund.gov.ph. Response time is usually less than a day. Note that they might ask for a valid ID to verify your identity.

Alternatively, you can fill out the Email Us form on the Pag-IBIG Fund website. Remember to write the code at the end of the form before clicking the “SEND” button.


3. Message Pag-IBIG on Facebook

Visit the official Pag-IBIG Fund Facebook page and message them with the following information:
  • Your complete name (including middle name)
  • Date of birth
  • Mother’s maiden name
  • Employment status

4. Head To Your Local Pag-IBIG Office
